What Parents Actually Look For

"We weren't sure if our daughter would stick with piano, so we looked for a teacher who wouldn't make us commit to a whole year upfront. Found someone who does trial lessons and lets you go month-to-month. That flexibility made all the difference — she's actually still playing eight months later, which surprised us both."

Before You Enroll: Key Questions to Ask

These are the actual things that matter when you're evaluating any program for your kid.

How's the Communication?

Do they give you actual feedback about how your child's doing, or do you just drop them off and pick them up? Good programs keep parents in the loop.

What Happens if Your Kid Falls Behind?

Every kid learns at their own pace. Does the program slow down for struggling students, or push everyone at the same speed?

Are There Trial Sessions?

You can't know if it's a good fit until you try it. Most reputable programs offer at least one introductory class or lesson before you commit.

Who's Actually Teaching?

Background matters. Whether it's a tutor, coach, or music teacher, they should have real experience and ideally some references you can check.

What's the Schedule Like?

Does it work with your family's reality? If you can't get your kid there consistently, it doesn't matter how good the program is.
